Their fast response during an emergency earned them a St. John Ambulance Life-Saving Award.

🚧 O-Train Line 1 service adjustments in June 🚧

On specific days between Friday, June 6 and Sunday, June 29, O-Train Line 1 will be partially or fully closed. This is for annual maintenance and work on the O-Train Line 1 east extension.

R1 bus service will run during impacts to O-Train Line 1 to allow customers to continue their trips.

Safe riding reminder

Riding on the outside of any vehicle is dangerous and illegal.

Riding on the outside of a bus, also known as bus surfing, risks serious injury or death to the person riding. It also risks causing an accident that could harm others.

If you notice someone bus surfing:

  • Let your bus operator know
  • Notify nearby OC Transpo staff
  • Call 9-1-1

Four more zero-emissions buses (ZEBs) are coming by the end of May! This time, they are Nova LFSE+ ZEBs wrapped in a shockingly beautiful green city design.

But before they can be zapped into service, they will go through a circuit of testing. An additional 51 Nova LFSe+ ZEBs are wired to arrive later this year.
