Buoy or toy?

I don’t know about you, but when temperatures rise, we look forward to our favourite summer activity, swimming! This usually means a trip to the local store to pick up beach and pool essentials: shovels and pails, snacks for lunch, and floatation devices to keep our children safe. The problem is, not all floatation devices are created equal.

Are you savvy when it comes to knowing the difference? Take the poll on our Facebook page to weigh in on which item is a toy and which item will keep your child safe this summer.

Whether it's in the pool, at the beach or cottage, we think about the fun, but not always the safety. Proper floatation devices are necessary but remember, adult supervision is also essential - no matter how well your child swims!
