Owned and operated by the City of Ottawa’s Community Galleries Program, the Trinity Art Gallery features the works of local and regional artists in two exhibition salons. Artists are selected through an annual peer assessment process.

Young at Art

Young at Art is a professionally assessed art exhibition bringing the work of young visual artists to local art galleries. Since 1996, YAA recognizes the creative efforts of young artists across Ottawa. Selected works are eligible for several awards.

David D. Pistol - I am Hip-Hop

January 9 to April 8
Vernissage: January 9, 5:30 to 7:30 pm

David D. Pistol(link is external) is a visual disruptor and storyteller. He uses photography as his landscape to capture the authenticity of everyday people and spaces. His work highlights how Black men show up in spaces, empowering individuals to embrace their unique narratives and find strength in their stories. 

I Am Hip-Hop showcases Ottawa’s vibrant Hip-Hop scene, highlighting collaborations with House of Paint, Cranium Arts Project, and OBAK. Through photography, this exhibition celebrates local voices, the community’s impact, and Hip-Hop's global evolution, inviting viewers to connect with the culture and its empowering, inclusive message.
